About Your Session


My Approach:
If you are used to studio portraits with themed backdrops and formal poses, your time with me is going to be a little different. I prefer a fun, relaxed, and photojournalistic approach to portraits. All sessions are held on location. Portrait sessions can be maternity, newborn, children, family, pets, high school senior, or engagement. Please contact me to discuss other sessions.


Time:
Photo sessions are scheduled during the morning or early evening hours as the lighting is best for photographs during these times. You can expect to spend about 60-90 minutes. However, there is no set time limit. I will spend as much time as necessary to capture the best photographs. Outdoor photo sessions are weather permitting, we will reschedule if rained out.


Location:
I prefer to take pictures outdoors in natural settings. This could be your backyard or a local park. If you have a certain location in mind please let me know and we can talk about the specifics. If not, I can recommend a few locations around town. I will also accommodate in home sessions.


What to Wear:
Comfortable and casual clothing works best. Try to avoid logos, busy patterns, and characters. For children, bright colors and accessories such as hats and scarves are recommended. For group sessions, you do not have to exactly match. Similar or coordinating colors work best (white on top is still very popular). Not sure what is going to look the best…bring some extra clothes as an additional option.


Costs:
My session fee of $100 includes a relaxed, informal session for up to four people ($10 each additional person), at the location of your choice within 30 minutes of Westerville, Ohio. This fee includes session time, digital editing, web gallery creation, hosting, and travel to and from location. Payment is due in full at time of booking to reserve your session. After the shoot:
Each photograph will be personally edited and carefully processed to prepare them for print. Within two weeks of your session, I will give you a link to an online gallery where you will be able to view and order prints. Please feel free to share this gallery with friends and family. Ordered prints can be expected to arrive within 5-10 days. Your custom gallery will remain active for 30 days.


Prints and Enlargements:
I do not restrict the poses or images that you can order. Everything is a la carte so you can design the best package that is right for you and your family. Please let me know if you are interested in photo gifts such as books, t-shirts, puzzles, mouse pads, coffee mugs, etc.. I can also have your images printed on these gifts. CDs with all Hi-Resolution images of your gallery are available for $350.
